AFNLM Modules 1-8

CE Credit Access for CFN Modules 1–8

The Certified Functional Nutritionist (CFN) credential is approved for continuing education (CE) credits for healthcare practitioners through the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). NUHS is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialistsâ„  (BCNS), which ensures that the coursework meets rigorous academic and professional standards. While the program does not offer CME credits for physicians, it does provide pathways for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through internationally recognized frameworks accepted by healthcare professionals in more than 50 countries. Some U.S. practitioners may also be able to apply their CFN training toward CPD recognition, depending on their professional board and jurisdiction.

Starting October 27, 2025, online attendance for CFN Modules 1–8 will be eligible for state CE credits.

  • • To earn 36 hours of CE credit, you must complete all 8 quizzes (one per module) on or after October 27, 2025.
